My Amater Radio Projects

I've always been a "dabbler" when it comes to electronics.  When I was a kid, I used to take ANYTHING apart to see how it worked, but getting it back together was another story (however as I've gotten older, I'm doing better at putting things back together...Hah!)

The web pages (on the right) show some of the things I'm dabbling in at the moment and hopefully some of the information will help you in your endeavors as well.

I also write software for a living and have published some items for ham radio as well.  You can check this stuff out by going to my software page at www.ZackBurns.com and downloading those items from that site.

My Amater Radio Projects

I've done various presentations on behalf of the Toledo Mobile Radio Association. They are posted here for posterity.

D-Star vs DMR vs Fusion (TMRA Hamfest, March 2017)

D-Star Operations (January 2018)

Using N3FJP Logging Software (May 9, 2018)

Have fun and stay safe.
